Nominate Whedon Alumni for SyFy Genre Awards. Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, and Morena Baccarin are among those eligible for "Best Special Guest."

Nathan is eligible for "Lost" (ep. "I Do.") Summer is eligible for "The 4400" (eps. "The Ballad of Kevin and Tess," " Terrible Swift Sword ," "Fifty-Fifty.") Morena Baccarin is available for "Stargate: SG-1" (eps. "Dominion," "The Shroud,"The Quest: Part 2,"The Quest: Part 1," "Counterstrike.")

With some discussion, I'm sure we can find other Whedon alumni eligible for nomination. Just remember that they have to have appeared in a science fiction/fantasy/horror genre film or TV show on American television or American cinema between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007.

Whedonesque.com won the award for Best Website last year.

How about Drive That was a TV show on just recently.

Unfortunately, it states the nominations must be in before May 15th, which means you only have an hour or so, depending on your time zone.

Joss already won this award (2004), so he's not eligible again.

The lateness of this post is entirely my fault. I've been very busy, and the deadline creeped up on me very quickly... So do the best you can!

Also, unless "Drive" was a sci-fi show, it's not eligible. Much as I would love to honor Nathan in any way possible, this isn't the show for this award... but he is eligible for his guest stint on "Lost."

MALicious,

Were you able to nominate Drive or Nathan? My email went out 5/15/2007 12:02:15 AM. GRRRH! ARRGH! My little computer clock said 11:59.
Nebula1400,

You don't think aliens were running the race as some sort of intergalactic betting game?

I guess it could happen. We'll never know, now.

It's May 15 ET, so if you are in Europe or Australia, it's still yesterday here.

I sent in a Nomination for Summer. Her recurring role on "The 4400" has been so good that she's coming back this season. I figured Nathan's already been nominated a few hundred times, so, well, you know... :)
Yes, Anonymous1, I was able to nominate Nathan and Whedonesque before the deadline. I was in such a hurry, I didn't have time to think about nominating anything else.
Thanks, MALicious, I spent too much time thinking and was two minutes late.
