Alyson Hannigan at world famous Montreal 'Just For Laughs Comedy' Festival. She and the rest of the cast of 'How I Met Your Mother' will be in Montreal on July 21.

"Truth really is funnier than fiction! Join cast members Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders and Josh Radnor as they as they perform "unintentionally" funny passages lifted directly from the actual memoirs of well-known stars, in this critically acclaimed and inventive comedy event, created by Eugene Pack. They couldn't make this stuff up if they tried!"

Are they going to a mall, while they're there?
Is Robin, I mean Cobie, singing "Let's go to the mall"?
OH MY GOD! IN my city! hee :D! hmmm.....
Okay, are sitcom stars going the way of genre people, coutnry music eprformers (FanFair), and soap stars, in having cons with meet-and-greets and panels and cetera? Not a bad idea if I do say so myself and I do. And if this isn't that, it's still a good thing, and I don't mean anything to do with cornfields there.

And regarding that picture, I like that both the men and the women took the correct approach re footwear and hose.
But just for laughs is not a convention its a festival, with not only paid shows there are also free shows and entertainment for the public. They often cordon off several blocks and have entertainment booths etc on the streets and have it in both english and french.

It is a convention(job fair) in the sense that there are several talent scouts executives that go to the festival to seek out new talent. And often comedians(the unknown ones) go to this festival not only to just peform their stand up and get paid, but also to get some exposure and maybe sign a deal etc. It has happened that comedians were discovered at the festival for the past(20 years?).

I love Alyson to tears and I know she's likes the laughs.

Just let her be for now.
Well, we've basically been making positive comments so I don't udnerstand the "let her be" aspect. But I can imagine she enjoys making the public happy :-).
