Buffy teaches us how to write a cliffhanger. Writing coach Roy Peter Clark uses "Welcome to the Hellmouth" script to teach cliffhangers.

Buffy shows up in the darnedest places! At the Poynter Online journalism web site, Writing Tools columnist Roy Peter Clark uses excerpts from the shooting script of the BtVS pilot, "Welcome to the Hellmouth," to teach the technique of writing cliffhangers.
