Doug Jones is a fish out of water? Doug blogs about his Hungarian experience as he prepares to start filming of Hellboy 2. He talks about miming around language problems, and his issues turning on the tv.

Typically I would not link to a myspace blog but this was just to funny not to share. Not to mention it gives people an idea of how nice and funny this guy is who gave many Buffy fans the creeps in his memorable appearance.

Love the remote control story....priceless! Even though I hated the first F4, I'm looking forward to seeing him as the Silver Surfer.
I'm so jealous. I really loved Budapest when I was an exchange student in Hungary... Though Doug doesn't seem to be enjoying it as much as I did!
Picked up lots of Hungarian by watching (badly) dubbed Buffy episodes that I'd seen hundreds of times back home!!
I was lucky enough to attend Doug's Q&A at Grand Slam in Burbank. He really is a sweet guy and very talented. He mimed a whole intro into what he did, including Silver Surfer. Not sure what was going on with that, but it seemed as if he weren't getting full credit for his work--that the filmmakers were saying most of it was CGI, not Doug. Anyone else catch that or hear anything about it?

I can't wait to see what he does in Hellboy 2. The man is really talented--scared the bejeebers out of me in Hush, which will always be one of my fave Buffy eps.
