James Marsters' June Q&A posted. This month he discusses Spike's taste in music, his work on Superman: Doomsday, and the benedictive properties of rain.

Does anyone else feel like the eyes in the top-left-corner picture follow you wherever you go?
And to think I was watching Buffy last night and feeling supremely jealous over the sunny weather. James can come and join me in the Seattle drizzle whenever he wants.
Any vampire that has the good taste to like both the Ramones and Nirvana deserves to Shanshu, in my opinion.

I mean, Angel likes Manilow. How is that deserving of a reward of any kind? ;)
Having decent taste in music, appreciating the whole woman, not choosing between cats and dogs and loving rain are all just fine, but he also washes up his own dishes and is not adverse to housework? I think I really, really love him now!

Now, now, his taste in music may be atrocious, but you have to applaud him for being such a sensitive guy. :)
I'll take Manilow over Nivana any day. I mean c'mon. Copa Cobana is freakin life changing. Barry is the man.
;)
I KNOW I really, really luv him, even if he didn't do his own dishes. Whatta guy *sigh*

I have to agree with kerfuffle on that. Manilow over Nirvana any day of the week.

So what if Angel sounds like a dying yak when he sings? With a face like that, who cares?
Manilow over the supreme excellence that was Kurt Cobain?

Blasphemy!
The scenic department guy always had really cool albums laying around his home; Pixies

Must find out which Pixies albums. I bet Spike loved Come on Pilgrim.
Iím right there with you, bloodflowers - add that he loves his kids, appreciates and compliments his fellow actors and musicians, has balanced life priorities, and seems to look for the joy in all that he does.... whatís not to love? What a guy!

LOL!

It's a good thing this fandom is derived from many different personalities, no?
THIS fandom? Diverse? Noooooooooo.... ;)

As for the Marsters goodness--after reading this Q&A, I asked my mom if she believed it would be possible for me to love James more than I do now. I got a very interesting look... lol.

Every single month he never fails to remind me why he's made of awesome, but this month in particular just made me smile, smile, smile :)
itís like a benediction from the sky.

And here I thought all this West Coast winter rain was just water. Lots and lots of water. I didn't realize I was being blessed.

Some blessings I could use a little less of.
After the biggest downpour in 40+ years, my sister's house is currently under 2 feet of water.
She doesn't feel particularly blessed, I must say.

And ormaybemidgets I had to hide my Spike puppet on top of the wardrobe because the eyes scared the bejesus out of my niece.

She loves the Angel one, though. ;-)
