SoCal Browncoats add really shiny extras!
In addition to all the prizes and fun you can expect at any CSTS screening, the SoCal Browncoats-organized screening in Pasadena has some really shiny extras to ogle/win/buy at their screening tonight, including special donations from QMx!
The SoCal Browncoats keep on outdoing themselves. Their CSTS screening is tonight (Friday, June 22nd, 2007).
In addition to all the prizes and fun that you'll find at other CSTS locations, attendees will get the opportunity to win they've got some exclusive items from QMx and some cool stuff signed by Adam.
They have a CSTS poster and an uncut CSTS LA ticket sheet autographed by Adam Baldwin added to the prize list.
QMx have donated some amazing stuff to be sold/auctioned to benefit Equality Now: One of the last of the sold-out Serenity Blueprints sets (a special Final Engineering Proof copy!) which will be auctioned off, and some unfolded Miranda maps (as seen in the money packs) signed by Geoff Mandel which will be sold, I believe.
I wish I was in SoCal so I could attend!

It's really nice that she's showing up there. I'm guessing that helped you sell out?

I totally expect to be dazzled by the brilliant organization, the spectacular prizes, and the glittering roster of unannounced celebrities that just happen to pop in to see us. :>

It was a great night, even I won something, a pretty pendant of the Serenity Chinese symbol, yay!

Yay for a great event, the donors and sponsors, the audience, the raffle buyers and winners, the highly motivated and organized SoCal Browncoats, and my partner, who kept raising his hand for me and whispering, "You really want it, we're both graphic artists and so we really appreciate its beauty, and it's for charity. Go on, keep bidding..."
And yay for Joss, who, by the way, made one helluva movie. How great to see it on the Big Screen as intended, and know that cash is going to Equality Now in honor of this talented man who has inspired us all.
"All I ask is this: Do something. Try something. Speaking out, showing up, writing a letter, a check, a strongly worded e-mail. Pick a cause – there are few unworthy ones. And nudge yourself past the brink of tacit support to action." - Joss, http://whedonesque.com/comments/13271

Thank you one and all for making tonight a success. Thank you to Ray
for stepping up months ago and offering to take the lead. He did an
excellent job running the crew tonight and with all the work to get us
here. Thank you to all the volunteers. Thank you to our sponsors,
prize donors and the theater. Thank you to each and every one of you
that donated, bought cool swag, and enjoyed a great movie with a
theater full of Browncoats.
And lastly, thank you to Joss Whedon for creating the thing that has
brought us all together. Happy Birthday Joss!
Ray will announce the preliminary total we raised tonight after he
recovers :) We should have an exact total soon after.
