This year's Comic-Con has a lot for Whedon Fans.
The biggest day will be Saturday the 28th with the Dark Horse panel on Joss, but that will be up against the "Sarah Connor Chronicles" with Summer Glau.
However, as mentioned, there will be a showing of "Once More With Feeling", along with previews of "Chuck" with Adam Baldwin. The whole schedule has been released.

Yes, but that was the sneak-peek schedule. This is the full schedule, which includes info about Summer's panel.
As for me, I'm leaning towards Joss' panel. As much as I adore Summer, she tends to be somewhat quiet on panels, and I'm not as interested in her fellow cast members as I am in her.

I'm so helpful. I do not work for Apple. I love our iPhone. Summer should never be scheduled at ComicCon at the same time as Joss. Why can't I find the British pound sign on my keyboard?
QuoterGal | July 10, 00:15 CET
What? Only Fillion gets to throw stuff at Summer? How is that fair? ;)

You must have one of those cheap knock-offs that seem to be popular abroad (or a "US keyboard" as i've seen them called). Bet the inverted comma's in the wrong place too.
(in Windows, holding 'Alt' then typing '156' - without quotes but with NumLock - on the numeric keypad should get you a '£' QG. Just the character unfortunately, it's not a magical money making machine ;)
I like the text heckling idea. Are the iPhones video phones too ? Joss could go on a walkabout and beam the iHeckle back to his panel.

edited to add: I am so sorry Joss, it looks like your fans are not going to be raising Warren Buffett level donations for breaking bread with you (he got, what? about $650k? Surely both the Blue Sun Corp AND Wolfram & Hart must have been in the bidding!).

(I'm OSX, but I got there... eventually. ) Huzzah! Or rather, damn!
Thanks, Saje, now I can swear with a BritAccent...

From Neil Gaiman's blog today (09/07/07):
"And a couple of events that were hoped for, one with me and Joss Whedon, and one with me and Dave McKean, had to go by the wayside, one because of scheduling problems and one because of Dave not actually coming to Comic-Con this year."

JW: I find that when you read a script, or rewrite something, or look at something that's been gone over, you can tell, like rings on a tree, by how bad it is, how long it's been in development.
NG: Yes. It really is this thing of executives loving the smell of their own urine and urinating on things. And then more execs come in, and they urinate. And then the next round. By the end, they have this thing which just smells like pee, and nobody likes it.
JW: There's really no better way to put it.
As Homer would say, it's funny 'cause it's true.

(Forgive me, I'm pretending it doesn't exist.)

Say, she can come to his panel first, and say "Joss is boss".
Really, it's amazing you have to choose between two good panels, then find out there's a third at the same time. Well, I'll figure out something. That's half the battle during Comic-Con

That's profanity in OSX.
The £ is a simple "alt 3" without the quotes.
Nebula1400 | July 10, 06:07 CET
Oops, now THAT statement just totally came out wrong. ;-)
I COULD pretend to be all sympathetic about your Joss/Summer dilemma. But the evil twin part of me is smirking, well, EVILLY.
Actually, she's secretly wishing that SHE too could go to sunny Comic-Con instead of being stuck in cold, rainy Sydney.
Nope, evil twin wins- mwah hah hah!

Gonna meet Joss... still all kinds of angry that they've scheduled Joss up against not only Summer, but JMS as well... How dare they make me choose!!

We could really use some of your rain, though.

I imagine that they are just fans, but with Neil Gaiman getting involved in quite a number of movies lately, it's not out of the realm of possibility for them to work on a movie together. Or something more realistic, but still wishful thinking, the possibility of Neil Gaiman doing a story arc for the Buffy Season 8 comic. :)
