Dynamic Forces announces Joss Whedon sale to help benefit Equality Now. "From now until the San Diego Comic Con, 100% of all proceeds from this [comic book] sale will be donated to Equality Now. ... Brett Matthews will be signing the new Serenity HC (as an extra special surprise to help support the cause!)".

Dynamic Forces President Nick Barrucci is bidding on one of the auctions to help raise the money Mr. Whedon is hosting, and encourages all DF fans to bid against him (and all the other fans) to help raise as much money as possible!

Well that answers some questions about who's bidding.

(Did Newsarama's web formatting do something funky to the press release? Or was it just copy edited a little too fast? There are few places where it reads a little strangely.)
Can someone please explain in Captain dummy talk what a Serenity HC is? Thanks.

The hardcover version of Those Left Behind, the three-issue comic from before the movie. It include a bunch of bonus material not previously presented anywhere.

This word, I do not think it means what you think it means ...

Bravo though, the more Joss Whedons on sale the better. A glut might cause the price to drop so I could buy one and finally get him to write 'Roseanne: The Next generation' for me.
The surprise is that it costs 50 dollars more with the signature.
Darn. I just bought Tales of the Vampires a month ago or so.

Thank you very much for the explanation. I completely forgot about that.
