Angel and Buffy DVD box sets (all seasons) for $15.99 each at Best Buy. Sale extends to both seasons of Dark Angel as well.

Those are great prices...now, if I didn't have multiples of every season already...
Is there any current fandom campaigns for donating to libraries or troops abroad? Offers like this are a gift for such fan efforts.
... or $5.99, if anyone still has that link to the $10 off coupon that was up here a while ago.
Simon, just saw that (so sorry for the double post). I've been sending Firefly DVDs to a program called Operation DVD (www.operationdvd.net), an AMVETS program that's setting up DVD libraries on FOBs. It's nothing fandom-specific, but they guy says they have lots of movies and could use more TV shows (and money for shipping).
Damn it all to hell!!
I would buy them all in a heartbeat if I weren't saving up for the whole series box sets, grrrr!
Awesome deals though...
It is funny that they are charging full price (over $40) for Firefly (which is $16.99 at Costco).
Heh, I know, Buffy's voice still cracks me up on the region two DVDs. Just 10hZ, go figure.

Back to topic, Simon just raised an important issue that we should look upon. At these prices, why not pick up a few sets and drop them off at your local library?
I'm so conflicted right now. I know the complete box set is coming out soon, but there's no way I can get it for $80. I might just get these if there's no word of a bonus disc (although I guess there is the booklet... does anyone know what that contains?)
Kinda' lost me there, xanderharris. Do you mean the page from Joss? I'm still confused (which is normal).

Bottom line is this the best deal ever.
Have we confirmed the complete set has no bonus disc? If it's just the letter from Joss, then paying $64 now (already have season 5) is a ridiculously sweet deal. But I would need word on this now, so if anyone knows, please do tell.

That sounds like a very worthwhile thing to do. I hope the troops who get to watch Firefly enjoy it.

Have we confirmed the complete set has no bonus disc?

Yes there is no extra disc as far as I can tell. The press release gave no indication that there was one and the R1 boxset has the same number of discs as the R2 boxset (which had no bonus disc).
Ahh, thank you, Simon. Starting to make sense now. I think...
Oh, sorry Madhatter. I was talking about the booklet with show info and pics and stuff... I thought there was a booklet kinda like the one included with the Buffy complete series, but I might be wrong.
If they had Firefly at my Costco...I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
