Captain Jack (Harkness) Likes to Kiss and Tell. John Barrowman of Torchwood dishes on locking lips with Alexis Denisof and James Marsters. Yowza!

Do we know which episode Marsters is in? When did Barrowman kiss Alexis and where can I download that show?

And as for Marsters, that is pretty funny when a straight guy says a gay guy kisses better than Sarah Michelle Gellar. ;-)

Dietcoke JM is in the first episode of the next series which starts, as far as we know, in January.

JB was in the play Rope with AD and Tony Head about 14 years ago. The first scene had JB, AD and another actor appear naked on stage. There are some pics of the play if you google it, but not of that scene.

Marsters is in the first episode of Season 2 Torchwood which broadcasts in the UK early next year.

He kissed Denisof in the stage version of "Rope" he did back in the early 90s. ASH was in the same play.

Seriously, he's gotta stop taunting fandom like this :-)

Okay, for just a second I thought I was gonna have to start watching Torchwood. Generally speaking I loathe fanfic, but now I have sinful little pictures of Alexis and James kissing...

(And in my fantasies, Alexis is a better kisser than Sarah too. :)

It hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but there is strong circumstantial evidence** that Marsters will also be in episode 13, the season finale.

** Mainly the fact that Gareth David-Lloyd, who plays Ianto, told some fans at a recent convention that this is the case. He also said there is a chance that Marsters will become a recurring character on Torchwood.

Thanks, Orphea, for what has to be one of the best uses of show dialogue in recent memory. (Thanks, too, for providing what was pretty much my only laugh of the day as well.)

And thanks LadyGrey for digging up this great story. I have this mad desire now to create some kind of comprehensive kissing-continuum, which would rank all of the whedonverse stars on their ability to smooch. It would start with Alexis on one end and... who on the other? Surely not SMG, right?

Damn, if the adorable Barrowman keeps this up, I may be converted to slash. Unfortunately, we here in the U.S. will have to wait longer for the first ep with JM, as season one just started on BBC America, less than two weeks ago.
I started watching in anticipation of the JM appearance .... I'm not totally shallow & wanted to catch the story from the beginning :) .... but I like it so much, I'd keep watching even if James wasn't going to be on.

Well, he did recently turn down the role of Rob Lowe's gay brother on Brothers and Sisters, due to scheduling conflicts. Barrowman is a busy man.

Interesting little factoid: Barrowman auditioned for the role of Will on Will and Grace, but was turned down because he was "too straight." Go figure.

Me too, Shey! I like this show so much that when I had company arrive unexpectedly tonight, I was grateful to the DVR gods that I was able to quickly set this up to copy, then go enjoy my company.
Torchwood/MI:5 mini-marathon tomorrow for me! :)

Jeez, the Rope photos you can find by following the link in the interview look about a hundred years old. Can barely recognize ASH. Maybe someone felt the need to take the photos with a period camera.
