PopMatters picks the top TV on DVD. PopMatters picks Buffy, Angel *and* Firefly for their list.

Our favorite heroes are mentioned in the same space as The Simpsons and MASH.

I like their list. My So Called Life, Freaks and Geeks, all top TV. Nice video clips to accompany all the choices.

That was fascinating, & I didn't even take time to watch the clips. It's so gratifying to know that there are critics out there that really "get" Joss's work. If only one of them ran a network.
The description of Firefly is just brilliant, "A SciFi western action comedy with a cast of nine unique characters, an undercurrent of existential despair and a futuristic culture that blends Wild West and Chinese aesthetics."
I wish I'd written that.
