Sneak preview of 'Southland Tales' tonight in Boston. The Harvard Film Archive will be showing Sarah Michelle Gellar's new movie at 9.15pm. And in related Sarah movie news, there's a brief interview with her over at Sci Fi Wire.

I regret to say I've not a chance to watch this film. Ahh, comments from those whom have?
I see Possession has Lee Pace in it. Might just sway me enough to see it.
I saw it last night at the AFI festival. I think it's safe to say that if you didn't like the trailer, you probably won't like the movie, either. I loved it, but I feel like I need a few more viewings to get the whole experience.
Here are some pics of Sarah at the Screening at AFI festival, including a couple with the Summer sisters back together as SMG and Michelle Tratchenberg reunite.
Posting it here, since they don't seem that relevant to get a new post, but they're related to this post.
Huh, I didn't know SMG was there at all. That must have been while I was seven floors up, at the top of the parking structure, waiting in line for the last-minute tickets. She wasn't actually at the showing. I know because I ended up sitting right in front of the seat with her name taped to it. My seat also had someone's name taped to it, that I didn't recognize. They fill in the no-show seats from the line of people who don't have advance tickets. Dwayne Johnson showed, and Beth Grant, Will Sasso, and Nora Dunn.
I've the feeling the "fruits and various meats cannon" will be roaring tonight.
Wow, not to get off topic (but maybe to get a little gossipy) Sarah certainly isn't trying to put the pregnancy rumors to rest with her outfit choices. Ya know?
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Dwayne Johnson have begun press interviews for Southland Tales. Here are a couple from Reelzchannel.com and Collider.com.

Re ChosenGuy317. LOL, I agree the premiere outfit isn't the best on SMG. I do like the colour and her hair and make-up look great. Recently, she has been switching back and forth between lovely form hugging dresses and some nicely designed sacks. Judging by her previous event pics from Wire Image on October 25th, she is definitely not pregnant.
I thought the outfit looked good on her, though in saying that I wish she'd put on a little more weight. I feel she doesn't look as healthy as she used to, she is still beautiful though. But perhaps it isn't my place to make such judgements.
I'm really excited to see Possession. Lee Pace and SMG! I know I keep saying it, but perfect casting!
Wait, there's another one? I've so fallen off the trail.
I really liked seeing SMG and Michelle together again. It's too bad Buffy and Dawn worked more as a Slaying Sister act on the show, but there's stilol the comic book series, once the vertical problems are eventually solved.
I saw this movie...it was really awkward and not very enjoyable.

Sarah was good!

But the film was heavy and dry. High and interesting concepts balancing on weak stilts.
In a couple of places in the interviews Sarah and Dwayne talk about "wanting to work together for awhile" and having "known each other a long time." Does anyone know any more about that? How they know each other and where they met?
A couple of friends who saw it have let me know they found it pretty interesting and enjoyed it overall. So I'm back to looking forward to it.

Tanoai Reed was a stunt performer on some episodes of Buffy and Angel. Tanoai Reed is Dwayne Johnson's cousin and acts as Dwayne's stunt double. Sarah and Dwayne may have met through him. I think I read a blurb about this; but, I can't find it anywhere.
