I was wondering that myself.I have heard there is a big surprise on the last page, so I wonder if its a character we are not expecting?

I think this should be played after the 5 page preview we have already seen. Its a GREAT pre=credit sequence!:)

Also I would love to see some of the new artwork from the comic in it, like 'clips' from the new season:)

@angeliclestat interesting idea on the comic artwork. I've just completed an Angel 'previously on' S5 promo for After the fall but it's not opening credits - I thought I'd wait to get the first issue.

Damn, that's a great credit sequence. I'm not the biggest fan of Gwen, although I'm not opposed to her; she could definitely be a good character, I just didn't like her all that much when she did appeared. I am glad to see Connor back in the mix, as I'm one of the rare people who loves him. I was just disappointed that Vincent Karthraiser wasn't given the "And" credit.

There are various Buffy Season 8 credits sequences, but none AFAIK refer to the comic specifically. I imagine Giant Dawn and Flying Willow would be hard to include wthout a handy special effects studio. (I made some "publicity photos", but photoshopping together one image is rather easier than twenty-four per second. And even then I didn't make Willow fly.)

There are very few pleasures in life more underrated than watching a GOOD fan-made credit sequence. And that was a great one. (No, I'm not being snide or sarcastic. I love these things.)

I have a minor quibble...I would have placed as last the one actor who had NOT been a regular on the series before...but that's really more personal preference. I tell you what, though:

The dragon makes up for it.

That was really well done, but I'm very much in favor of trying to distinguish the characters from the actors who used to play them as we move into different mediums. The actors were all amazing, but they've moved on and really have nothing to do with the comics. They shouldn't be getting any credit for the creativity of the writers and artists. Let's have a dramatic shot of Brian Lynch brandishing a broadsword. ;)

Seriously though, alot of credit should go to Kernie Cam Productions (www.kerniecamproductions.com) for making the Alexa credit.

I'll do an updated credit sequence within a couple of months with the actual characters from AtF and an updated 'and' credit for Vincent. I was going to originally, but it seemed like a lot of effort for what is essentially a guess as to who is in the comic. Once I'm sure I'll work around the clock to make something more or less presentable and with more original content.
