Everything you wanted to know about Mutant Enemy Day. Little bit confused about what's happening on December 7th? Well Fans4Writers has some handy details about where to meet and what to do.

I just get "Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query".
Seems to be working now.
For those unable to attend, are we still going to take pictures of ourselves holding signs and send them in somewhere?
Is it stupid that I'm really excited that Mutant Enemy Day is on my birthday? It's like someone is saying there's a connection between Ben and Glory...
I want to go. :-(
MySerenity - Yes you can send your photos to photos4signs@fans4writers.com
If you're planning on coming but haven't yet let us know, please visit this thread on Fans4Writers.com and raise your hand. We have about 100 people so far who've said they're planning to come, but we want to have as accurate a count as possible.
All I want to know is what the weather's going to be! The forecasts say hot but cloudy, with chance of rain. That could be anything!
I just have one request, oh strike captain Lexigeek: Name tags! Although we will be reasonable and not try to pester our ME heroes, I do hope we can get to see the faces that go with the names on this board and on others, and with my crappy memory, name tags will be essential to accomplish that. :)
I second the request for name tags. Otherwise how will we recognise each other?

Should we get Joss one? In purple of course.
Yay! I'm going!

Joss doesn't need a name tag, we all know what he looks like!
I dare somebody to make Joss a nametag. Written in purple pen.
What if there was a Whedonesque template tag, so people could write username and/or real name? I can't go, but that would just be so neat to see in photos afterward. And we'd be able to identify people.
The easiest thing is probably for somebody to get a roll of yellow stickers and a marker pen. Then they wonder around and get people to mark themselves up. Trust me, do a few people, and everybody will want to do it.
If someone's going to make me break my embargo on wearing a name tag, they had better not show up with YELLOW stickers. Yellow? On my red shirt? Garish!
I will be there with a friend but had trouble registering with fans4writers (did not receive my access code.) Will keep trying.
I'll make sure there are name tags! :)

With green ink!

*snicker* and it should say "Josh Wheadon"
If Seth Green shows up, will he be wearing a "Hello, my name is God" name tag?
Hello, my name is Seth.

And also, nope, not Josh Wheadon. It needs to be joss, with a lower case j.
Awesome! I'm so excited I won't have to wander around saying, "Hey, be sure to cross the street safely, um, er, ahem, Whatsermawhosityername." ;)
But what if I put "Whatsermawhosityername" on my name tag?
But what if I put "Whatsermawhosityername" on my name tag?

But then someone might think you were a false b!x!

Zing! ;)

B!x, I'd be happy to call you Whatsermawhosityername if you prefer. If we get on an I-forgot-your-first-name basis, that is.

This thread has just fallen off the front page, but in case people are still checking up on it, here are the latest strike updates:

Good news: Fans have picketed around the world in support of the WGA. Go, teams New Zealand and Australia!

Bad news: The AMPTP put forth a "new" offer, and it's the same 1/3 of a cent as before for downloads, plus dropping writers to a one-time payment of $250 for unlimited streaming of a TV episode for a year (as opposed to the $20,000 they now get for a single network rerun of an episode). Yeah, that sounds fair to me. /dripping sarcasm

Negotiations resume Tuesday, but, seriously speaking, there's no chance that our ME Picket will suddenly turn into a Picnic at this rate. And the Boston rally will really be a rally. Team Fans4Writers!
