You know, if I lived in America, I don't think I'd ever get to work. One weekend I'd be in L.A. for ME-Day, and the next I'd be driving to Texas...

Not that I really want to be a "Negative Nancy," but calling this the "1st Annual" just sets off all of my logic alarm bells. You know, like, how do you know this is the first annual event when the second one, which should be a year from now, hasn't happened yet? And what happens if it doesn't?*

On the other hand, it is just a few hours down the road. So I may go. Assuming, that is, that I have all the work I need to do done by then. Just when I thought I wouldn't have a good incentive, though...here it is!

When I saw this, I immediately thought of the Monty Python skit about the women's group recreating various famous battles, by rolling around wrestling in a muddy field in their Sunday dresses.

I don't think we've ever done a laser tag shindig, though it has been suggested.
