(SPOILER) Angel After the Fall Interaction: Issue 4 winner announced. Time & Space Toys interactive cover experience coninues, with Irish artist Stephen Mooney providing the cover for the winning entrant.

Submissions for Issue 5 are being taken now. The link can be found within the link above.

Congratulations to the winner!

And IDW promises a shock ending more explosive than even those of the first three issues.

I loved that sentence!

This waiting from month to month is killing me. I already want the next issue like right now, not later. I'm thinking I might have to start buying two issues just so I can read one of them over and over again and save the other just to keep.
Okay, I seriously don't want this to seem as negative or snarky as I'm sure it will, so I apologize in advance. I mean I'll say a deserved congratulations to the winner... but since one of the problems some people have (myself included) with this series is the worry that it will end up seeming like glorified fanfic, I just think letting readers design the covers does nothing to diminish that perception. I really, really just wish this series would get the same editorial and marketing respect that Season Eight has gotten.
Letting readers design a very limited edition cover is a bad idea, I agree. Why make readers part of the fun, I don't get it. Also IDW still hasn't gotten back to me about making all the covers leather, what is their problem?

Oooh leather covers. Make it happen, Brian!
I want leather made from vamp-skin though.
So you want an imaginary cover? :)
Vamp skin may be tough to find. You could substitute AMPTP skin, but that may be TOO thick.
I do! Finally, someone gets it! I want invisible covers. I'm gonna join that contest and then suggest invisible covers.
Wouldn't vamp leather just dust?
I'm imagining you in your invisible jet reading comics with invisible covers wearing your invisible robe... wait... thats Wonder Woman, right? Or things just got weird in here (just?!).
Then it would be a dust-jacket! Boom!
Oh, snap! This guy should be a writer! *zing*
Oh, Brian! You're one krazy kat!
Okay, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I just couldn't tell if this was sarcasm or not:

Yes, that was sarcasm. If it means anything, I typed it while smirking, and also while putting on socks. Isn't that weird?
Oh lord, can this comic do anything right in the eyes of season 8 fans? *bangs head on desk* Ouch!

Anyhoo, I like this cover. Very nice bold image, and as it's Spike in his 'Jim Jams it's even better. *g*

Illyria certainly knows how to dress her pets! Even though I can't tell, I bet it's silk!
I wouldn't define myself as a Season Eight fan, and certainly not as a means of explaining my reticence towards ATF. My comment wasn't a slight towards this series, no matter what my past criticism has been. I'm a much bigger fan of Angel than I am of Buffy, and so am much more interested in seeing it get the respect I feel it deserves. And as annoying as it may be to those fans that have no complaints with the series so far for me to keep "griping", it's equally annoying to ME to not be able to ever voice a concern or dissatisfaction without everyone getting defensive and snarky.

I'm not dissing anyone here... Not Brian, not the contest winner, not even Urru (this time ;). Just expressing a concern.
I hear you, Haunt. And thanks for caring, sincerely.

Hahaha. I had just woken up and wasnt sure. Im still tired too.

I seem to remember waking up a number of times and fighting with my pillow while my eyes were still closed.

No offense, but some of us are loving Angel: After The Fall way more than Btvs season 8.

Ditto. I feel exactly the same.

Yep, and I'm one of them. *g*
Yep, and I'm one of them.

Oh wow. Did you post your review and I missed it?
This is my favorite fan designed cover so far. The fan participation is a great idea. I really wish more people would get involved and vote.

Just because of this (if I wasn't doing it already, that is), I would continue reading the series, and anything else that you have written. It's so refreshing to see witty authors who communicate with their fans.

And having fans design the covers... Why not? There are all these variant covers anyway, and giving a chance to a fan to become a part of the force behind the series seems like a nice thing to do.
