Looks like White Noise 2 is coming out on DVD this week... I was checking what was coming out on DVD this week and it looks like White Noise 2 is finally making an appearance. Only took them 9+ months. There will also be a DVD signing by the director and the writer on Saturday 12th Jan in Burbank, CA.

Also, HD-DVD + DVD Combo Disc

Maybe this is a dumb question, but...does 'Sunshine' have anybody Whedon-y associated with it?

I was under the impression it doesn't.
I've seen commercials for 3:10 to Yuma being released on Tuesday too. Alan is in that one.

If anybody wants to promote Nathan's movie White Noise: The Light. There are banners at http://whitenoisethelight.net/help-promote/ This banner is blue like the DVD. http://whitenoisethelight.net/banners/470_156.jpg

I want to hear the Firefly reference. I'm also hoping they gave Nathan a camera to film DVD extras like they did in Firefly and SLiTHER.

Nathan does do one of the extras - the tour of the asilum or whatever it was the filmed at for one part - it's an extra that isn't on the uk/aust DVDs so i'm looking forward to getting a copy of the US version as soon as I can

It's actually 12 months since the movie was released at theatres in the UK!!
Whoo-hoo, another Nathan Tour. I was really disappointed in the Lost 3 Season DVD. I was hoping Nathan filmed his tour of the island. At least, he put pictures on his myspace of the island.
QuanticoMVP, I'd guess it was somebody just trying to promote a movie they liked.
White Noise 2 and 3:10 to Yuma out on my birthday! Best present ever!
I've added Beth'll's info about the DVD signing to this entry.
QuanticoMVP: Just another great under-rated sci-fi flick coming out this week about a crew aboard a spaceship... ;)
According to this, Summer Glau's Mammoth is also being released on Tuesday.
That link also says "The Killing Floor" starring Marc Blucas is out, so it's a Whedonverse trifecta ;).
Actually, Saje, with Nathan, Alan, Summer and Marc, wouldn't that be a quadfecta? ;-)
Ah yep, forgot about Alan, mea culpa (nobody look for anymore, pentafecta just sounds daft ;).

The tour thing sounds cool, but someone told me that the asylum they filmed in was haunted, which should make it interesting. (At least to me.) I mean, he may be large, but he kind of strikes me as a bit of a scaredy cat. ;) Can't wait!

Would it be pentafecta or pentfecta? Just curious.
Oh my god, I'm so getting this, I wanted to get it for my birthday, but it didn't came out. But I hope I can find somewhere and get it, I know my mom wants to see it too.
Dunno NYPinTA, 'penta-' is the form i've seen most often (pentagram, pentagon etc.) but dictionary.com seems to suggest you can also have 'pent' (no 'a') though most often before a vowel rather than a consonant. Pentfecta sounds even dafter to me though and since, AFAIK, they're both made up words anyway, i'm sticking with pentafecta ;).
Fuck it. It's Whedon-related, so let's just agree to call it a Perfecta. I'm hoping that like an alignment of stars, its occurrence is some kind of good omen such that we can look forward to a quick resolution of the WGA strike which will allow Joss and the rest to get back to work creating lots more cool stuff for us.
