Five TV Series That Were Cut Down Too Soon. nogoal4u from AfterEllen.com compiles her list of five TV shows ended before their time... you KNOW Firefly's always going to make that list, and here it comes in at #2.

With a happy sigh, the Browncoats cry: "We're number two! We're number two!"
Perfect. Every show I would have named as well!
Yeah, I'm impressed at how many of those shows I love. 4/5. Maybe I should watch this My So-Called Life...
Replace My So-Called Life (never got into it) with Arrested Development and you have my list exactly.
Don't know what I'd remove ... but I'd add Angel to the list. Even though it got 5 seasons ... it should have gotten more. (I'm not bitter ;) )

Haha, for some reason I can't stop thinking about THIS CLIP (3 MB).

Number two? NUMBER TWO??!!!
What, no love for My Mother the Car?
ie. Five out of eight of the usual suspects. Yawn.

I agree, marpocky. How can you leave out Arrested Development?!
Well Arrested Development did get what was it? 3 seasons? I loved the show, don't get me wrong, but I think this list is more for shows that didn't even last a full one or more than one. I would throw Undeclared on there (another Judd Apatow show) and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Both brilliant shows that got the axe WAY to quickly.
Firefly.
Drive.
Hex.
American Gothic.

Hmm. I can't think of a fifth.

So...how about shows that NEED to have more than one season, which haven't aired yet?

Dollhouse.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Ripper.
After Serenity. (What? It could happen. Once FOX realizes, again, how brilliant Joss is, they'll realize also they need a new "space" sci-fi, and beg him to pick up the Serenifly story from where the movie leaves off. Except...Summer's doing T:SCC. Oh dear.)
For me it'll be Firefly and Kitchen Confidential.
For any UK readers, I nominate Ultraviolet (was on channel 4) - not at all related to that horrible film!
Personally, I'd have placed Firefly first, but I do agree that all of those shows were definitely cut down too soon. It does make me feel less pathetic that I'm not the only person who actually watched each of those before they were released on DVD.
