I love that Eliza's 'in training' to get ready for a role that will likely not shoot for at least another 6 months.
It actually makes me feel guilty about my own lame excuses for skipping the gym over the last few weeks!

Huh?

(I think she just means she enjoys exercise and staying in shape)

(Assuming Dollhouse is set in present day that is)
And happy to hear it's still a go, strike permitting.

Doesn't sound like much 'body in motion' happening there ;-)

I actually wasn't looking much into Tru Calling because of my devotion to Faith, but when I did watch Tru Calling, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it was slow to start, but the show was getting better, ashamed they cut season two when they did, I actually wanted to see that season to the end, it was finally going somewhere, but with these shows you need a impressive start, I don't think Tru Calling was firing strong at the start, so they effected it's response among viewers, even if it improved later.
So with Dollhouse, already the premise is exciting, and I feel there's so much there to make this show exciting from the start, the writers strike is hurting me, 24 and Prison Break are suffering delays, and I want Dollhouse made, not the best new year start for tv shows, but crossing my fingers for the future quick!

How about Eliza Dushku: Spinning? That way you could keep in the phonebook-reading thingy (although I've personally never appreciated the charm of that) and capitalize on that whole going-nowhere-fast vibe.

Huh?
Pretty much my exact reaction to that statement.

I just took that to mean she likes physical action acting. She likes her body in motion as opposed to just standing there looking pretty. Maybe that means the series is going to have a lot of action...and possibly literally with explosions. :)

Eliza's certainly come a long way from playing Arnie's daughter in True Lies.
I kept wanting to just...slap Faith. "C'mon girl! Get your head on straight! They're offering you a new life here!" One of these days, when I have a job again, I NEED to get "Angel" on DVD so I can see her complete journey.
