Yep, Jeri Ryan was (ETA: and is still in fact) lovely, had she but appeared in that bikini, I strongly suspect she'd be up there.

Billie Piper strikes me as a sort of female Nathan Fillion. If you look at her features in isolation it doesn't seem like they should work but somehow, when they appear together, they work very well indeed.

The clip of Morena being removed makes me wonder how long is too long where fair use is concerned. Or have the congloms managed to get rid of fair use altogether ? Rights for sale, get your bids in quick.

I would buy Carrie Fisher as #1 if the others hadn't all been from basically current shows. If you were doing an all-time list, it's there, but if not, why bother?

In all serious, do people really think Carrie Fisher looked good in that outfit? I know it reveals a lot, but it just seems to me that it does nothing for her particular figure. Gina Torres or Morena Baccarin in that bikini, yes.

And I thought about Sigourney Weaver, and Ripley is a great, great character, and a powerful, strong woman AND beautiful, but I don't see her beauty as being of the hot variety.

Ripley is the sort of woman you might describe as "handsome" rather than pretty or hot. She's certainly attractive though (IMO), no two ways about that.

This is from FHM, so I'm not surprised that more Whedonverse women weren't included. A disproportionate number of the women on the list were identified as "babes" or some kind of sex machines. Inara was much more than "an ultra high-class prostitute who is trained in the art of sexual pleasure", but that's how she's described on the list. Jolene Blalock's character was more sexualized than Jeri Ryan's, even though they wore very similar garb, which likely explains why the former was included while the latter was not. I don't think even FHM could find a way to reduce Buffy to a sex kitten bimbo.
