"Bones" has new cable home starting next week. Now you can see David Boreanaz day and night. Aside from early morning repeats of "Angel", TNT will be showing "Bones" starting with the first episode next Tuesday. It will be shown five days a week starting next year.

This is great news. I haven't seen season 2 of the show yet. But isn't it a bit early for syndication, what with only about 50 episodes complete? Hey, I'm not going to complain!
My first thought was, "Great! Now I can tape those 3 episodes I missed at the beginning of the series!" My second thought was, "You moron, you already own the S1 DVD!" O.o I really should watch that DVD...
Ya freaked me out a bit here. I thought "Oh, great - they're moving it to TNT? What the fluck did FUX do now?"

Then I realized they were talking reruns and I breathed a Whooo!
I'm happy whenever any Buffyverse actor finds work-- and DB has really flowered as an actor and come into his own partly due to this show-- but it's a subpar procedural and his co-star has the charisma of a dog-chewed shoe. He should be a romantic lead in movies, not helping to churn out more police dramas, which television is already so saturated with that, at this point, I can't imagine any serious actor/writer/director getting into them on purpose.

I can. They are still hugely popular, and besides paying the bills, they can also raise an actor's profile with the public so they have better choices elsewhere.

Err, you do know she's meant to be cold, aloof and slightly stiff right dispatch ? It's an intrinsic part of the character and personally I think Emily Deschanel plays it very nicely.

Whether it's sub-par is also obviously down to the individual, again, IMO, it's got a nice cast chemistry, a lightness of tone and likeable leads. It's good fluff TV in other words, it's not going to change the world but it's fun entertainment. Not everyone feels there's a place for that of course and that's fine, EMWV ;).
Personally I think the show is fantastic. I love all the character quirks and DB is awesome. Give me a smart and funny show over reality tv anyday! Of course I have all the DVDs and watch them constantly but it's nice to know that I can catch them on TNT too. Now if only Fox would air the 4 eps they still have in the bag! I don't want to wait until May sweeps!
I wish TNT had bumped at least one of the Charmed episodes instead and made it 9am, I have to leave for work at 10am and if Bones is on I'll be habitually late for work! A double shot of DB would be great if they bumped Charmed completely and Angel was at 8 and Bones at 9... I'd go to work a happy girl. Oh, when will the world revolve around me?? ;)
