Stars of Tomorrow. Summer Glau is on TV Guide's list of 10 up-and-coming young actors who are on their way to the top.

Also on the list is Summer's Chronicles co-star Thomas Dekker, along with Oscar nominee Ellen Page (Juno), James McAvoy (Atonement), and Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood).

Madeleine Martin - Californication's sage-beyond-her-years rock-and-roll daughter actually got her start voicing the lead role in the animated children's series JoJo's Circus. Clearly she's got range — and a big future in front of her!

Huh? That girl's wooden acting made every scene she was in simply cringeworthy. She was the only thing I couldn't stand about Californication.

Hmm, surely that was intentional ? I think she was meant to be deadpan, almost joyless, like a mini version of David Duchovny's Hank. Haven't seen her in anything else so I can't judge if she has range or not but she played the part very well IMO.

And James McAvoy has "eyes as blue as Loch Ness" ? So, err, kind of a murky grey then ;).

Good to see Summer on there as well as the verse adjacent Amanda Seyfried (Lily from Veronica Mars) but I think it's a pretty decent list, everyone (that I know) on there deserves to be I reckon.

Aww,James. He's getting so famous. I've known him since things like Children of Dune,Shameless and Macbeth.

I'm happy to see familiar names there, like Summer Glau, Thomas Dekker and Amanda Seyfried.

What is get from this list, is that most of this people are tv-stars. interesting.

I'm glad to see Paul Dano on that list. To hell with Abigail Breslin (cute and talented she may be); he was real reason Little Miss Sunshine was cool. Or maybe I just identify with slightly off-kilter characters. ;)
