Nathan Fillion Reportedly Appearing in Chilled in Miami. Local Canadian media are reporting that he's currently shooting a new romantic comedy up in Winnipeg with Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr.

Other press mentions listing him in the cast:

Winnipeg Free Press

Hollywood Reporter
That's sad. I read the script to this and thought it was a complete and utter joke. I can't believe it is becoming reality. But then again, that is the history of the world.
so what is it about and what kind of character is Nathan doing
Must call my brother - he can keep an eye out for Nathan!
He mentioned that himself at the FX 2008 Whedonverse panel in Orlando. I saw it in one of the panel videos on YouTube.
I'd like to see him play the villain.
Nathan said this himself at last weekend's con - said he'd done some filming in Winnipeg and is soon to do more in Miami - interesting that IMDB has no mention of his part in the movie
got distracted waiting for the post to preview and rose ayn beat me to it LOL
"In the film, Zellweger plays Miami businesswoman Monica Scott, an ambitious executive banished to a small, frigid Minnesota town with the assignment of turning around a failing factory."

Not much of a description but any chance to see Nathan on the big screen. I wasn't sure I'd like Waitress and it ending up being one of my favorite movies of the year.

And hey Nate, come film in frigid Minnesota already. We could use the heat you'd no, nevermind.
Nathan is the new Hugh Grant and I, for one, welcome a remake of 4 Weddings and a Funeral with Captain Mal starring.
Hugh Grant? I was thinking Nathan's closer to George Clooney as a romantic type, and Harrison Ford in action-type movies
Yeah he mentioned this in one of the FX con video segments very kindly posted by CA Bridges (I think). He also said he was doing the voice of Steve Trevor in an upcoming Wonder Woman animated feature BTW (Keri Russell is voicing WW) - think it's one in the list of Bruce Timm DCAU films but i'm not certain about that.

And I definitely see Nathan as more the new Simon Callow.
So Nathan's the new Hugh Grant? I hope there's a new Divine Brown! I mean, the original's probably getting a bit long in the tooth, isn't she?
Oh Ed... you didn't!

But I'm with the George Clooney comparsion. But with blue eyes. :)
