Cordelia's not the longest lasting player in the Buffyverse, Angel's right there along with her.

SMG & Hannigan are the only two performers to have appeared in EVERY episode of Buffy since day one. Nicholas Brendon runs a close second, having missed an episode in the seventh season.

So far as I can recall, Cordelia appeared in every episode for the first three seasons of Buffy, and every episode in the first three seasons of Angel. She missed a lot of Angel season four. At least as much as Angel missed in the early days of Buffy. So I'd say the two of them tie for third place.

Cordelia missed two episodes of BtVS S1, while Angel missed six. But didn't Cordelia also disappear for awhile in AtS S3? Plus the absences in S4... if you add in Boreanaz's crossover BtVS appearances, he's sure to have a few more eps under his belt than Charisma, despite lack of regular status in Season 1.
