Audition for Buffy Between The Lines Season 2. Fancy yourself as The Mayor or Cordelia? Then why not audition for the popular Buffy fan audio drama. There's loads of roles to try out for.

Now, there's an idea! I would be a wicked Angel.
Well, Angel was cast in Season 1.. but we'd love for you to audition!!

If you haven't heard Season 1 yet, check the sidebar for the episodes.
I can't wait to hear the voices for each character! Less than a month!
I am so going to audition! I was going to last year, but I didn't think I was good enough. But this year, I am really going to try out.
Sigh.

I truly hate being unemployed & broke - this would be such a blast to try out for, but I can't afford the equipment (Nor do I have a clue how to use any recording program) or even to subscribe.

But best of luck to everyone involved!
Ooh. Mayor. So ... tempting. Mayor ... gah. So tempting. Been years since I've done any voice-work, though.
I'm tempted to throw in for Holland or Riley, both of which are characters I liked. Wanted to read for Xander last year, but just didn't have the willpower to record it.
omg the eqipment... I forgot my microphone finally died the last time I was going to try out.... crap now I have to buy a new one.
Omg I did it. Just sent my auditions for Dru, Lilah, Cordy and Gwen Raiden. That was so much fun! I love BtL!!! I was severely lacking in the confidence department last time myself. This time I just sucked it up and did it. Woot!
ShadowQuest, go anyway. At least, give it a try. I wouldn't worry about the equipment, there be plenty there and we tend to share. Go for it:)
And I got it! You'll get a reply soon-ish.

For the rest of you go out and get that mic! We even put up suggestions on what to get (check the FAQ).

Also if you are at all freaked about it, don't be, check out our audition takes to see how some of the first ones sounded (from S1) and remember that you will likely land some sort of part.
We have a LOT of them to choose from (and the canon ones listed are also not all the canon characters we are casting for!).

Plus, we are nice, fun people and not at all scary (except for that Tabz chick ;)). I look forward to getting in all your auditions!
Madhatter, AthenaMuze Thanks, but...1)I'm on dial-up, so listening to other auditions will be painfully slow, B) I seriously know nothing about audio programs for computers and III) see above re: broke.

Although, come to think...my mother, who is on DSL, might have a micorphone and might possibly know more about Audacity than I do. I might have to see if she can help me next time I go to do laundry...

I haven't auditioned for anything for...15 years.
I am VERY scary.

You do need your own equipment. Everyone records from their own computer - which is how we get a WONDERFUL international crew including real British accents!

Actually that was really more for everyone, not specifically ShadowQuest. I'm not sure what Madhatter is talking about exactly, because we don't all meet in the same place and you do need all your own stuff and the ability to use it (so no sharing, sorry).
But for those who are just in general worried and don't have those other obstacles, we have solutions.

Woo! I definitely am going to audition! I just (finally) listened to the first five episodes, and I am so impressed! I definitely want to be a part of it!
People: don't let Audacity scare you. I am not tech oriented, and find it to be an extremely user-friendly program. I have used it to demo music for people.
Don't anyone be intimidated! I had not really performed for anyone but myself when I auditioned, and I wound up the Big Bad!
