This be the 'Verse. Gorgeous Serenity movie artwork by graphic designer Geoffrey Mandel.

This actually appeared back in July 2004 but was removed for whatever reason (I suspect cause the move had not yet been released). But it's returned and so all is right again.

Hmm. The Fruity Oaty Bar ad is in Japanese. As was the calculator that young River used in Serenity. Jayne can barely read English, so I doubt if he can read either hiragana or Chinese characters. I'm not sure Kaylee had that great of an education either. The 'verse as set up has a hugely complicated writing system.
