Yes, I am in Doctor Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog.
Felicia Day makes a quick post to her blog to confirm her work on Joss' three-part web-musical series. She describes the series as "clutch" - though isn't really sure if she uses the word right.

eta: wait, could it be "klatch"? As in "kaffee klatch" (German) "A casual social gathering for coffee and conversation."

I'm such a loser. But I'm a thrilled loser, so it's okay.

Dude, this will be so clutch!
crossoverman | March 17, 07:15 CET
Pluralize this and maybe we can all use it as our new slogan. ;)

That "clutch" is a verb doesn't come as a bolt from the blue to me. I was trying to define a noun. And I looked in the Urban Dictionary. Damn ;)

The Guild has made me a big fan of hers, so I love that she'll be a bigger part of the Whedonverse now.

Felicia's lovely. She suits her natural accent better too ;).

1) Felicia Day is irresistible. Resist her. Try! Feel a little foolish now? She lights up the set (not literally; electricians do that), she sings like an angel and her acting is funny and true. Today we had all three principals singing together and it was not unfun. What a bunch.
2) Felicia is partially responsible for this ever happening. "The Guild" first made me realize we could just go out there and get it done, make funny shows all by our lonesomes. In fact, I had coffee (not literally; I had tea) with her just to ask her about the process before I ever thought to cast her. (She has a huge amount of knowledge and talks very fast. I just nodded a lot and tried not to panic.) She's perfect for this part, but it's nice that she also earned it with Karma.
3) I don't have a three. It just seems like I should. More updates the next time my kids wake me up at 3:00! (Well, I guess 3:00 is a three... )

Felicia is now my new favourite person for getting you involved in this, Joss. For many reasons I won't get into, as I'm at work, being screamed at by co-workers. Er, by the way, if Jed tells you some random dude has offered his help with the Web 2 point oh side of things if wanted, that random dude would be me. I need to think of a better nickname than random dude.
Edit: And I need to never use the term Web 2.0 again in my life.

Lunch with Eliza: Dollhouse.
Tea with Felicia: Web series.
Moral: Joss should eat more.

Like not being able to create your work because of greedy moguls...until some brilliant clutch hitter shows you the way to go around them...OK, I get it now!

Also, literal tea is better than figurative coffee. Actually, literal tea is better than most things - i'd like to see coffee (figurative or otherwise) start a revolution for instance. Lunch is also good but rubbish for revolutions, you really need elevenses for that.
Edit: And I need to never use the term Web 2.0 again in my life.
Yep, if you could see your way clear it'd be appreciated. Ta ;).

Not necessarily eat, but definitely more hot beverages, unless those were iced-coffee or ice-tea.

I'd define 'clutch' in the sense I've heard many many sports players use it, as 'reliably good.'
Like, Sidney Crosby is clutch. You can always rely on him to produce 1-2 points. It doesn't even have to be used in the 'he came through in the clutch' sense.
Bankable might be a decent substitute.

This is oddly weird to me, because I'd have thought that Session 416 might have planted such a realization. (Granted, it was within the context of promoting a studio picture, but within that context it was a little guerilla and a little just "get it done".)

Here I am picturing them all running around like hens...
Either that, or they're being held very tightly. Which...not going there.
As long as she didn't mean they were a device for shifting gears, everything's all right.
Whatever happened to good old expressions like "faboo" and "marvy" and "five by five"? Spiffing even. The crac is grand.
"...and flocks of friendly sheep into the bargain."

And so if The Utterly Delightful Guild helped spark Joss to get with Felicia and make this Dr. Horrible, it's not far off the mark to say that WHEDONesque helped, prolly as the conduit and rounder-up of all things whedon-y and inform-y, so you'all can take a little pat on the backside.

People who are already in TV and movies but want to "make funny shows all by our lonesomes." And ask each other how to do it and then do it.
I haven't donated to The Guild yet but I'm going to. How are we going to pay you for this, Joss?

I've been wondering what myself. I think a pay-to-stream option could be done pretty easily. Put the first chapter online free, make the other two $1 each or something. Either that or just wack it all online and accept donations.

From reading Felicia's blog entries these many months, I have to comment, this young woman has got it together. How many Hollywood-actress-types are capable of building and managing their own website, blog and forums? I'd venture to guess, very few. Last I heard, she was learning Chinese for fun. Like CHINESE the language...for fun. And if that weren't enough, she is personally responsible for getting me off of my paper plate/plasticware addiction, thus saving the environment.

My thought exactly. Caroline et al you have managed to create a fan-site that actually is helping to create art from that very person whose art the site is meant to celebrate. Seems like there should be a name for that. For some reason environmentally friendly, comes to mind, but the circle of art, would probably be a little more accurate. ;-)
Oh, and Joss does not need to eat or drink more often, he just needs to eat or drink with cast and former cast members. Let's not forget that well-lubricated jam-sessions with the Buffy/Angel cast were credited for getting him to write OMWF...
