Closing the Hellmouth.
With the finale airing in the UK tonight, the Daily Telegraph says farewell to the series.
"The irony of Buffy (beyond the self-referential tone of the show itself) is that its reputation far exceeds its audience figures".
Yep.
Can't wait to see it, deliberately haven't watched 'Chosen' on VCD. Takeaway pizza and a bottle of white wine beckons. And for thos of you in the UK, don't forget Angel ain't on after Buffy instead we're getting what looks like a piss-poor Sky documentary about the show.

Angel lacks resonance. Really. And because the lead is a brooding hunk. So why have I, who actually like Buffy Season 6, and a friend of mine preferred Angel the past two years to Buffy? Maybe someone can help me out.

Because:
1) The Angel fight scenes this season have been top notch
2) Fred has been in the show the last two years
3) The writers have done a great job with Wesley's character over the last two years
4) Faith!
5) The Connor story line & character really worked.
ok. maybe not that last part.
Oh, and pizza bloke, should get yourself a decent Cabernet Sauvignon next time. None of that French crap though. :)

And I'm sticking by my choice of Austrialian Chardonnay for last night . If I drank a bottle of red wine last night, I would really be feeling it this morning ;).
