(SPOILER) Bendis talks about Agent Brand in Secret Invasion. Warning: the linked article spoils just about everything in Secret Invasion #1. The full relevant, spoilerless quote can be found after the jump.

Also I was really happy to include Agent Brand of S.W.O.R.D. in this scene, an excellent new character that Joss Whedon created in “Astonishing X-Men.” And considering her job she’s gotta be part of this story.


The SWORD appearance is more than a mere cameo, and what happens in #1 will definitely affect the future of the organisation.
