(SPOILER) Dark Horse's official solicitation for Buffy #16. Release date and description for part I of Joss' next arc. Will add the variant cover as soon as it's up.

The variant's being embargoed until closer to release date, for spoilery reasons.
Really? Two vampire slayers and two vampires with souls? Or is that just a wild guess.
Is the variant still going to be by Jeanty?
The variant's been embargoed for spoilery reasons after they let out the standard cover showing (spoiler spoiler spoiler oh WHAT a spoiler)? Innnnteresting...
Yep, still Georges-y. He told Slayalive the variant was spoilery in fact, but I still hope it's gonna come out way before July. DH will have to publish it in the Buffy comics page for advertising reasons, eventually.

Simon, maybe after Drac's slip of tongue, it's THREE vamps with souls.
Well the Fray thing isn't exactly a spoiler given that it's on the first page of the arc.

However, the Dracula thing is, damn it... (four issues behind here)
Wait, July? I thought the next issue was in May...
Next issue is in May, but the next issue is 8.14, not 8.16 :)
Who's "Joe" Chen?

It's speculation based on a remark that Dracula made, not a definite spoiler.
Buffy "suddenly" finds herself in an unknown world? I am really hoping that she's just not instantaneously transported out of nowhere. That's kind of been happening way too much.
definitely, Unplugged. i'll be glad to see fray regardless, but i hope they come up with at least a quasi-credible reason.
Well, this is a setting where "a wizard did it" is a quasi-credible reason. It's one of the things I love about the Buffyverse.
Ah thanks KingofCretins. I am but simple minded and im afraid I showed my hand to everyone.

Yeah, but they've used the "OMG POOF!" teleportation plot device a few times already in S8.
Huh, did I miss something? What remark did Dracula make?
Dracula claimed that he "risked his soul" to get his powers. This could be interpreted a number of ways; I think that he's simply being overly dramatic, not literal.

And, anyway, why is someone four issues behind clicking links marked SPOILER if they don't want to run into spoilers? Heh.
My interpretation of the soul thing: Drac risked his soul before he was vamped, so he retained his powers even after the suckage.
I agree with Perseo.
Well I thought the spoilers were for #16, not #13 (given that covers and solicitations never reveal anything significant). So sue me. (or bite me. Or work at Wolfram & Hart and do both. Hang on I haven't even started reading After The Fall yet...)
Are we still missing the cover for 14 & 15? I don't think I've seen them yet...
