IDW offering ATF subscription pre orders for issues 9-15. Finally.

I guess that means that there'll be at least 15 issues.
So ATF is going beyond the originally projected 10-12 issues? Great!

I don't think ATF is as good as Season 8, but it keeps getting better and better. The more Illyria is involved the better--her beating the crap out of that dragon was amazing! Brian got the Illyria banter spot on, IMO.

The First Night issues were originally going to be their own one-shots but got moved into the main series numbering. Then First Night got extended to three issues(issues 6-8).This meant the main story had to get pushed back atleast three issues extending the series three issues in the numbering.Plus we got the four issue Spike:After The Fall miniseries that is a sequel to the First Night issues and a prequel to the main ATF story. It fills in certain things that couldn't be fitted into the main series. So actually the entire ATF epic is really going to run closer to 20 issues total.
That makes sense to me now. Thanks! An interesting format for Angel's official continuation.
Does anyone know if the IDW subscription for the first installment of ATF will cover the entire First Night run? I bought the subscription, and I recall that it was originally slated to cover issues 1-5 plus the First Night "one-shot." I wonder if they're going to include issues 7 and 8 now. If not, I guess I'd better get over to TFAW and reserve my copies.

I did the same thing and I was told by IDW that my subscription would go through book #8. I think they changed the subscription when they extended First Night.
