Aint It Cool News Talks to Chiwetel Ejiofor. Capone, one of the regular writers for the site, sits down with our favorite Operative to talk about his career, including how he was cast in "Serenity". Aside from his memorable Othello, Ejiofor will soon be seen in David Mamet's "Redbelt". It starts this weekend in L-A and New York, then to more theaters a week later.

Other than Serenity, I've only ever seen him in Children of Men, but in both his performance was just so impressive I'm now determined to work my way though his entire back catalogue.

I'm still a little sad that I didn't have the opportunity (read: money) to see him in Othello.. I can't help but wonder if Ewan McGregor hadn't been in it then tickets might've been easier to get hold of.
I can never get enough of this man. I'm still so pleased that he gave Joss's script a chance and that we get to include an actor of his caliber and reputation in the Whedonverse. Plus, he always seems so articulate and, as Capone says, personable in any interviews. What a class act. Can't wait to see his new films. "Redbelt," especially, sounds fascinating.
I think I said it before, but I really really really liked Redbelt. And I loved his character. I think everyone in the audience did from the moment you see him on the screen.
He has never disappointed me. I enjoy watching Chiwetel. He's a great guy.
