'Buffy' star Benson a study in versatility. Brief interview with Amber while she's in Houston to promote Lovers, Liars & Lunatics and to do a signing for Free Comic Book Day. Includes 10 short videos (4 with Amber herself) plus 25 photos from the day.

She's a Terry Moore fan... that's so cool! "Strangers in Paradise" *does* rock :)
Amber is the nadz!
Amber is the nadz!

Ewwww!
Possibly she is the oves...
Waah!

I can't get the pictures to show up, because that site wants to install an add-on, which scares me.

How's she look?

Gee, that's a dumb question - she looks lovely as always. Right?

Right???
Not to encourage the use of the phrase "is the nadz", but gonads is non gender-specific. Ovaries and testes are both gonads. And oves is a contraceptive product, not the plural of ovum (which is ova, meaning eggs, not ovary/ovaries). Now, with all of that said, lets maybe not say that ;)
All very true, but in colloquial usage "nads" usually means testicles specifically. I realize I overuse it, but I still prefer "awesome." As in, Amber Benson is pretty awesome. I feel some awe when I see her work. In other news, I am dumb and forgot it was free comic book day.

The answers are:

1. Casual but beautiful.
2. Yes.
3. I said YES, OK? ;-)

E-mail me if you want the pics/vids. :-)

Right there with ya Sunfire. :-)

Perhaps we can all just agree that Amber is Legen. . .
.
.
.
(wait for it)
.
.
. . . dary! ;-)

ETA link for MattK.

Sorry to be stupid, but where's this Legen-dary meme come from? I've seen people say it in quite a few threads now, and I still have no idea.
NPH's character Barney says it in "How I met Your Mother" MattK.

Shit, missed FCBD. Maybe some stuff'll still be left today. Arse.

Yeah but the point of "nadz", "mutt's", "dog's" etc. isn't that the subject has them - in every instance you're actually referring to the "dog's bollocks" i.e. that the subject is as amazing as the mutt's nuts appear to be (which is why said mutt seemingly can't stop licking them ;). If "cat's pajamas" was as popular would we stop using it because Amber isn't/doesn't have a cat (or not one with pajamas anyway since most cats prefer to sleep in the nude) ? AFAIK "Bees" don't have "knees" either BTW ;).
I'm very happy to be brought up to date with Amber's latest projects. She is the epitome of a versatile artist. And a super nice person to boot.
Thank you, Lord Zeitgeist and sage Saje, for your noble efforts on behalf of the quest for a non-gender-specific term of wow. (One that metaphorically connects creativity with the biological basis of life-giving and erotic energy, natch.)

(And for that thing about the mutt, I hadn't heard of that. Oh, and the Latin. Loves me some some Latin in a magnum way. But that's another product.)
Just good to hear some info on Amber. Now, we must beat away these mutts.

Wait! I recognise these hounds...
for a moment i wished i lived in houston so i could have attended... but only for a moment.

amber benson rules. how cool of her to do this for the fans. what a class act.
As we had started off on a comic post (Sip is sooo coool, waiting on issue 2 of Echo) I read that as the Nazz (Brian Talbot's DC short run from years ago) and thought they were making a film of it.

Feel free to ignore :)

*a total fabrication, but you should still capitalize

You mean like these cupcakes? (NSFW!)

*acts all innocent and runs away*
I don't have audio at the moment, so I can't watch the interview. I doubt this is mentioned, but does anyone know if Amber Benson did some choreography for the Nick TV show, iCarly? I ask because I saw an episode with some dancing and there was an "Amber Benson" listed as the choreographer, and I was wondering if it were her.
IMForeman: There are (at least) two Amber Bensons in the biz though the Internet seems to have difficulty realising this...I believe the iCarly AB is a children's TV producer with credits back to 1995 and beyond.
I seriously considered traveling to Houston for this, but unfortunately I have precious little time as it is. Ah, well.
It's not an unusual name; back in '04 when I was doing Customer Service for T-Mobile I (just for daft, that's all, beleive me, I mean that, promise-promise) put her name into "Search by Customer" and found about 6 matches, none in California.

I thought of responding to that local poster who asked if she lived around there, but I'm signed up with enough corporate emails, I don't need to give my info to Disney/Capital Cities.

While I believe Amber is currently dog-less, I believe she still has a cat, who, in agreement with you, I presume sleeps in the nude or whatever you call having a natural fur coat.

We could always say soemthing like she's "toadally effin' ducky, man" and I'm sure nobody would imagine she owns any amphibians or water fowl from it.
crystalsinger, I don't want those cupcakes.
