Serenity on Blu-Ray. Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available at Amazon.com.

Chronomastersmith on fff.net found this.

AWESOME!!!!

Now both Firefly and Serenity on BluRay! AWESOME!!!!
And while you are signing up, you might consider signing up for Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place.

I checked for a Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog DVD sign up...guess it is even too early even for Amazon.
I'm going to have both Firefly and Serenity on BluRay before I even have a BluRay player. LOL! I hope these sales will get someone at Universal thinking sequel gorramit.
I'd definitely prefer Joss putting everything he has into Dollhouse over a Serenity sequel. I really think he can top himself with Dollhouse, and I'd really like to see that happen.
Will be off to buy BluRay machine just to watch Firefly and Serenity on BluRay! Joss can do Dollhouse and a Serenity sequel and Ripper, after all he is Joss!

I bought Serenity on HD DVD and I wasn't planning on getting an HD DVD player ever. (I felt Blu-ray was the stronger format and was going to win thanks to better studio support.)

On a side note, as soon as you can officially pre-order this Blu-ray, I will be holding a contest on The Numbers for a couple copies. This is true of the Firefly Blu-ray as well.
Magnificent. I've been waiting for this for over 2 years, now we seem to be very close. I hope this is region-free though, as I live in Australia. There's no way the Firefly Blu-ray will be - Fox always region-locks their Blu-rays.

Also, first post! Thank you to Whedonesque for finally opening up! Yay!
Will this be with the new commentary and stuff?

And yay! Had my PS3 for a while now and never felt the need to spend 40 dollars on a damn Blu-ray movie. I do now! Serenity shall be my first.
I look forward to any international announcements - Serenity (BD) will possibly be region free, but Firefly (BD) is looking to be region locked.

So don't forget the fans on the other side of the Atlantic!

I own over a dozen and haven't paid anywhere near that much for any of them (well, Planet Earth, but...). Granted, they do sometimes run $25, but there are a lot of Buy One/Get One and Buy Two/Get One offers. PS3 is definitely a great way to go for a BD player, however.
Here in Brazil we don't even have the Firefly DVD yet, so I had to import that one (but we do have Serenity DVD).

I have no ideia how much is a Blu-ray player over here... but I've been thinking of buying a PS3 anyway, so this might be the time.

Anyway, I'll probably get Firefly Blu-ray only next year... =[
But it'll all depend on the region free thing...

*crossing fingers*

I feel the same way. I found this site only this year, a week after the previous registration period ended.
Welcome aboard, its exciting to see so many new 'faces' :).
Am I the only one that thinks the price of 'Firefly' on Blu-Ray is a little high? I love Firefly as much as the next Browncoat, but $62.95 seems a bit steep.

I'll probably still get it, but still...
