Spike with a fro! Slayage.com unearths James Marsters's 1980 highschool yearbook picture.

Didn't someone's comment here on Whedonesque a few weeks ago reference these very photos that Slayage.com has now superimposed their URL over?
yep, it was t r a c y if i remember right. and i do.
I did a "guess who this is" with the hubby and he said, "Justin [Guarini] the guy from American Idol?" All I can say is: Modesto. 1980. It's not...his...fault.
Just like to add they weren't unearthed by Slayage.com. They were posted to alt.binaries.buffy-the-vampire-slayer a few weeks ago and have been circulating since.
"I can't wait to tell all my friends, they don't have a fro this big".

A quote for any occasion
That's sweet. I'd like to see Spike with hair like that.
I'd laugh, but I remember what my high school yearbook pics looked like.

I defy anyone to look at pics of themselves from 20 years ago and not cringe. Then imagine having them posted on the 'net!
prolific, that's why I find it *very* disturbing that Slayage chose to superimpose their URL over those images, so they're taking credit for other people's work. That's not cool. :P
I'm just happy to read that there are other people on this site
who can look back @ pictures from 20 years ago!!

You and me, both, Debra. It just occurred to me as I was looking at those, that I started high school 20 years ago this year. (I feel so old now.) :-)
oy! I got married 20 years ago today---so, age before beauty ya'll. ;)
Hmm, and to think I was born the year those pictures were taken... =)
