It's great when people love what they do, because there's lots of stuff on TV and elsewhere where its clear people are just collecting pay cheques.

Great, good idea Joss/Eliza, drum up even more anticipation why don't you ? After all I was only nearly exploding with it before. Just brilliant. No really, cheers, good job ... *mutters, grumbles*.
;-)

Hey, the possibilities are Jossless!
quantumac | May 30, 00:30 CET
I just hope we get more of these little commercials during the next seven months to keep us salivating for more. More Joss! More Eliza! More Joss & Eliza together!
palehorse | May 30, 00:31 CET
Eight comments in. That didn't take long. Might be a new record.

I would love to see her in a chick fight with Joss. Cameo, anyone?
Love the tagline.
BandofBuggered | May 30, 00:41 CET
I expected to see complaints about Angel not being mentioned first. But I am often so very wrong about these things.
Sunfire | May 30, 00:43 CET
You should try posting it in the extended detail field next time, b!X... or we could just add it as a default tag ;)
Why do you have to hate on Spike all of the time, Sunfire ;) ?

BUFFY SEASON SIX!
JOEY AND RACHEL!
No, wait..

Words I've learned thanks to Joss: effulgent, sanguine, Shawarma, and that the opposite of "pointless" is "pointy."
Back on topic: Eliza is fulgent.
Scaniano, "schmoopy" reminds me too much of "floopy," which is what a flibbertigibbet is. It's like schmaltzy and floopy, which is just a flibbertigibbet who is all fur coat and no knickers.
...But that's just me.

but they didn't say 'Angel'.
menomegirl | May 30, 02:26 CET
You're totally right! What? No. I believe I ordered my cake and eating it too, which requires that they sell other aspects of the show as the spoonful of sugar to go with the medicine of character development and plot.
zeitgeist | May 30, 02:30 CET
"So Joss, now that you're back in the driver's seat, I have to ask: Why do you write such strong female characters?"
theonetruebix | May 30, 02:35 CET
Though I am most excited for new plots, characters, and moral grayness, I must say that I love being able to see my favorite actors show their chops. So yes, Eliza's acting will be part of the fun.
Sunfire: That hurts, Haunt. Almost as much as thinking about how kickass she woulda been in Season 2 of Firefly. River encounters another escapee!
*Whimpers* I'm going to go cower in my room now.
BandofBuggered | May 30, 03:07 CET
"Who do you want me to be?" Just who you already are....

I thought it was "Microsoft: What do you want to re-install today?"
They've only just finished shooting the first episode, we've got another seven months to go, how on earth can they keep this level of promotion and excitement going?
zz9 | May 30, 06:27 CET
You have fooled no one today, person you are.
Personally, I believe that this encounter with Joss & Eliza would earn them a 15-minute comedy spot where they would sit on the couch and shoot the
shitbreeze. I'd watch that chemistry. Anyone else?korkster | May 30, 06:35 CET
Also Eliza-as-Joss's "I'm pretty good."
And yes, that's a great tagline.

I'm with korkster on the Joss and Eliza comedy thing. I'd definitely just watch them have a normal conversation. But god, wouldn't they be great playing a married couple? I can imagine the witty banter they'd have about, say, the grocery list. Except Eliza would always win, since she's gonna kick Joss's ass.
BandofBuggered | May 30, 09:06 CET
If I weren't already in love with Joss and Eliza, this clip would do it.
UnpluggedCrazy | May 30, 09:17 CET
So if we get ME's "Grr, Aarg" then what will Boston Diva have?

I'm waiting for "Are you saying Ben is connected to Glory?"
barboo | May 30, 18:19 CET
Saje | May 30, 18:20 CET
I get more of a Faith-y vibe from Season 5: "So... how do you want me?" (with Riley).
And, are you saying that Ben had something to do with Glory's evil scheme of not mentioning Angel and cancelling Firefly? Does that Mean BtVS is evil via self-promotion and non-support of other Whedon-like products? Or, is it just evil to "wrong-doers", which in case, would make it good?
My, have we lost our minds. *whistles*

'Who do you want me to be today?'
That Joss guy sure does ask a lot of questions!
Hopefully, Echo will get the answer to 'Who am I?' by the end of it all.
And by the end I mean many, many years from, now.
missb | May 31, 04:37 CET
Honestly I find the tagline slightly unsettling. I don't quite know why.
