Hmm just had a thought...a scary disturbing thought.

Gunn's face in that cover. Does it or does it not look quite similiar to both Angel and Spikes "OMG Im like totally getting a soul right now...ouch" face.

If they give Gunn a soul I would not be happy Jan.

Oh this is so funny! Brian rambles on and on, and I think I missed some stuff when I cracked up a couple of times. I'm glad to know that Brian would trust his bride with the shot gun, but my question is: does he even own a shot gun? I really enjoy these online Q&A sessions, Brian is getting great questions and is giving very funny answers. I totally agree that some Star Wars novelizations were way better than the prequels, and I agree that Brian should keep Angel out of the bathroom (I don't think vampires go potty myownself). Thank you Brian!

Rehumanizing Gunn (I'm sure there are Mohra demons about) would be a usable plot device.

Another vamp-with-a-soul would be almost impossible to do, to probably coin a word, unlamely. (And this from a fic writer who depicts Harmony as a souled vampire who's evil. But using it as a way of mass producing superheroes, no, thank you. I almost hypenated that word, thanks to the Copyright Gods for catching it.)

Oh yeh duh this is ATF #8 aka the final first night story with Gunn's story....im stoopid!

But yeh those black fingernails are familiar....

Well Spike stopped wearing black nail varnish towards the end of season 5 of Buffy. Hasn't sported it since either.

I think they are just a generic bunch of vamps about to turn poor old Gunn, rather then have it being anyone we would be familiar with.

Yeah, I really don't want it to be anyone we know and care about that turned Gunn. Harmony would work though *g* But a nameless bunch of vamps that turn Gunn who then wakes up all undead to kick their butts and take his place as their leader is much cooler. But, then, I have been wrong.

And it would make sense too, wouldn't it? I mean, he was sent to kill about 20-30 vamps by himself before the last stand-off. When he arrived to the alley, he didn't look that good. Maybe he was over-come. Poor guy.

Enisy, thanks for the transcript and that question about fanfic! (it was you, wasn't it?) I can hear the mp3 but I enjoy reading more. Go figure.

One of my first stories I wrote was Kermit and Mickey Mouse team up to fight Darth Vader.

So he wrote crack fic? A crossover crack fic. A three-way crossover crack fic. I think I like this guy even more!

Spike really couldn't be involved without warping the integrity of his "First Night" chapter, where he seemed aware of Gunn's fate but in no way a participant.
