It's too bad that Michael Emerson won't win Best Supporting Actor/Television for his role on Lost against three actors from BSG and one from Torchwood, even though he deserves to.
Interesting that James Marsters' Torchwood nomination is for Exit Wounds rather than Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. I hope he wins, he really deserves it.

Otherwise, I hope BSG sweeps the field.
Yeah, Shey, I noticed that too. But, he was great in both of them... maybe showed a bit more insight into the character in the second which might be the reason why they picked that one.

*pout* No kisses though...

You never know, bix. The BSG actors may all cancel each other out, and since Torchwood is less accessible to viewers than "Lost," Michael Emerson may have a (well deserved) chance.

As for why "Exit Wounds" instead of "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang," it all has to do with the number of nominations each got. "Exit Wounds" simply got more votes in the nominating process.
Yea!! James & Exit Wounds & Torchwood!!! Also, Yea!! Jensen & Supernatural!!! 2 of my favorite guys along with 2 of my favorite shows. Cool.
Wow, James in the same nomination list as Sir Derek Jacobi, I'm impressed.
Actually, I thought that James was better in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Still one of the best episodes of the season, IMO.

I'm hurting more than a little that Life On Mars didn't make it to the short list. But at least John Simm got a nod for The Master.
Right there with you, luvspike!!!
