Great idea. Like they included Serenity: Those Left Behind part 1 with the Serenity Collector's Edition.
They could include
Whoo-hoo!
What issue of Myspace Dark Horse Presents will this show up in? Gotta make sure my comic book store saves me a copy.

MySpace Dark Horse Presents is an online publication, not a print publication. It is, as the article notes, where Sugarshock appeared last year.
There IS a trade paperback of the first six issues coming out later this year, but it's primarily an online comic thing.
To answer the question: It's in the issue coming out July 2.

I wonder, are there really fans out there who anxiously await every new Joss project hoping against hope that men will kiss each other?

Oh. That is why I couldn't find the comic on http://tfaw.com
So...we could still get an eight page printed little comic book with the DVD. Pleasssse! Will pay extra!!! Goes off to email scott at DarkHorse.
Must add MDHP graphic novel to my list at the comic book store cause it will have Sugar Shock in it and if it sells well there will be a 2nd issue with Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer in it.

Was there anything in the deal of it not being included in as a DVD extra? Like Simon said...animated!!!

Or, if they don't have the cash to animate it (remembering this isn't some huge studio with limitless pockets), something like 'Shaun of the Dead's 'Plot Holes' snippets where Simon Pegg et al describe (in character) the action depicted in still drawings.

All's I can say is: wheeeee! Online, printed, animated--whatever. My cup runneth over. My question is: when does Mr. Jossir find time to sleep?

So, if the Dr. Horrible panel feels so inclined, there's precedent.

It is harder to turn the pages of online comics, I find.

Anyway, what this means for this thread is that, since the Captain Hammer piece is in Issue 12 of MDHP, it would be in the second volume of the trade paperback edition, which would be in six months.
But, at any rate, the exclusivity arrangement for material on MDHP is six months.

Hey, the first installment comes out on my birthday as well! Using a tremendous leap of logic, I reckon that may mean we were both born on the same day of the year (though not necessarily in the same year, unless you happened to be born in 1980).
