Some StarFury convention clips.
Sean Harry's uploaded several clips of his conventions onto YouTube. One is the The Chosen which features Juliet Landau, Elisabeth Rohm, Vincent Kartheiser, Neil Roberts, Jonathan Woodward, Keith Szarabajka and Georges Jeanty. There's also Serenity Infinity which has Morena Baccarin, Ellen Muth, Richard Brooks, Jonathan Woodward, Nectar Rose and Neil Roberts. If you've never been to a con and wondered what one is like, well it'd do no harm to have a look at these videos.

It's not as good as the Glasgow one. In that one you get to see the Jaffa Basket...

I was talking to Juliet about seeing her at ME Day and how did she feel afterwards because she was wearing boots and I was wearing trainers and my feet killed! Apparently she has super feet because she was fine. So then she asked why I was over and I told her about the Cruise and she asked who was on it. So I pointed at Jonathan. :D

Fond memories. I hope Sean does another whedonverse Con soon. Chosen was too near to Christmas and I didn't fancy the drive to Bristol.

Those were a couple of good cons, I'm going to miss not seeing all the shiny folks again.

Although if you've never been to a con, remember that not all cons are the same. Sean's cons are not like Creation's cons which are not like Comic-Con which is not like Dragon*Con, etc.

I was going to say something along the same lines. I'm a regular at Comic-Con and went to a con called "Buffyfest" in 2004 but still the StarFury con looks really rad. i would love a chance to go to one of these.

That one British experience was múch better than the Dutch cons I've went to (also because they can afford to have Joss-series-centric cons, whereas the audience for one of those in our little country is too small), but unfortunately, if you want to enjoy it to the fullest (stay at the convention hotel, do fotoshoots and autograph sessions, etcetera) they are just simply too expensive to attend, mostly (for me at least). Still, now that I've graduated from university and will be working, I'll probably go to a good Starfury event in the future (who knows, maybe even the first Dollhouse con ;))

Very PC of you, Bix.
Been to two of them. Won't go to another.

As well as Sean's events I've attended from various other companies in the UK over the years. I've only ever been to one convention I didn't enjoy, and that's one of the ones where the issues are well documented (and was on Watchdog over here because of it).
I guess with any con it depends what you're looking for. Starfury events always have exactly what I want - actual face time with the guests, decent prices and plenty to do.
