E! Online's interview with Joss. This was conducted at this week's Fox's promotional event, and the ever lucky Kristin gets to ask J. about the show's production.

I wonder how long will it take Echo to flee the Dollhouse. I hope the premise is thoroughly mined and she gets to stay there at least a couple, maybe three, seasons, because I'm still burnt over Sidney leaving SD-6 in Alias. The show went only downhill from there.

I agree, Perseo. The longer they can stretch something out, the more the audience will watch, become addicted, and be tortured by it. :)

I don't think we should worry about that, korkster. The Man himself once said "In terms of not giving people what they want, I think it's a mandate: Don't give people what they want, give them what they need." I love him for that. :)
And for many other reasons, of course.

Does this series of Joss being asked roughly the same questions over and over make anybody else think about the intro to his Equality Now speech?

I wonder how long will it take Echo to flee the Dollhouse.

I'm wondering if, when she tries to flee from the Dollhouse she discovers that the Dollhouse is the place she fled to . . . to get away from her life/self/surpassingly painful flashbacks.

I see that, Pointy. Maybe it's an elaborate scheme of therapy.

And, yeah, streetartist, the repetitiveness of these interviews gives me deja vu. But I think they get used to it; either interviewers don't do their homework on what's been said before or the audience doesn't listen the first time around.

I think there's also the fact that unless that person is reporting for a specifically Whedon-related site, the reporter has to assume most of his readers know next to nothing about Joss and Dollhouse. After all, Buffy's, Angel's, and Firefly's ratings prove that out.
