NPH on Sesame Street Outtakes. You heard me. Outtakes from Neil Patrick Harris's Sesame Street appearance.

Thanks to Scott for the tip on this one. The episode these were outtakes from apparently aired yesterday.

"Neil likes carrots" - hee hee. That was priceless, and NPH is barely holding it together at times. Cheers, Z (and Scott)!
Who's Scott?

These were great, Elmo lost it a couple of times, and the dancing! Dancing is always good.
Oh my God, I didn't think it could get any better than the Shoe Fairy bit, which a Joss fan on another site showed to me the other week. But the backstage things with Elmo are almost the best things ever.
Wow, that's adorable!
Neil's a fan of "magic". Something about being on the board of directors or something (that's two somethings, meaning I know even less about it) of "Magic Castle" (whatever that is) which is the home of the AMA, which has something (3) to do with "magic". (I could probably Google, but I don't wanna.)

The levitate thing really isn't a "nobody knows thing" I think. No?
U is for updated Flash - which I don't have on my computer at work and can't download. Wah!
Chicka bow-wow? I always associated that with pr0n groove. What exactly does Elmo watch?
That Elmo cuts one hell of a rug, get down yer bad self.

Very cute and funny.
The Magic Castle is an exclusive private club for magicians. It's in Hollywood and has performances by magicians every night of the week. To get in, you either need to be a member or get a visitor's pass from a member.

The AMA is The Academy of Magical Arts, and is probably the most prestigious organization for promoting the advancement of the art of magic. Neil is on the board of directors of the AMA.

He's also been involved in performances at the Los Angeles Conference on Magic History and recently directed a show by magician Guy Hollingworth at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (I posted a link recently about this latter one, in which Guy goes into a bit of detail about how he managed to get Neil as his director).
Pajamas! :)

(Cuz that's what I'm wearing right now. :D )
Who's Scott?

Scott is the one who dropped us a line with this delightful link :).
No match for "NEILLIKESCARROTS.COM".
I saw the Guy Hollingworth show on Saturday. So very clever!
Ya z, got that much. But I got the impression that we should know who he is? No? Never mind, then. ;)
I was hoping you got that much ;) He is just Scott. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Aaaand that's the cutest thing I've seen all day! Gotta love Mr. Neil.
That was about the cutest thing ever. I danced along with Neil and Elmo.
Fun. And NPH's voice never ceases to amaze me. Until Dr. Horrible, I didn't know he could sing at all, so my repertoire of knowledge on the subject is very thin. But I've caught up on YouTube and I'm still amazed. I love the shoes piece.
That made my day. So cute.
Those outtakes were wonderful! So PG, and yet funny! I enjoyed his levitating and "Neil likes carrots". Loved it when Elmo cracked up. I would think it takes skill to make a puppet like Elmo crack up. :)

They should do more of those.
Just when I thought I couldn't find NPH any more adorable...

Sesame Street?! Awesome!
Awwww, how adorable! I love NPH, and Elmo! :)
NPH dancing with Elmo = Cutest Thing EVER.
That MADE my day. Cutest - thing - ever.

I started laughing in my office, and had to quickly shut up, because other people would be very confused as to why I was laughing to myself in my office. I had headphones on, so there was no sound from the computer!

Maybe not true anymore. I saw a flyer on the freebie table at Comic-Con for a variety show there you could buy tickets to.

That was too cute and funny. More fuel for my shiny new obsession with all things NPH.
Hee. Brilliant. :) Of course, just about anyone talking with Elmo gets me giggling. ;)

Loved The Shoe Fairy skit. :D

I'm guessing that's more of a promotional thing to get people in, rather than how they usually operate. Aside from that show, it is still a members-only kinda thing (though it's certainly not hard to get a pass -- Neil gave one to each person in audience on Ellen last time he was there).

I know of several magicians who were in attendance at Comic-Con, though I imagine it was Neil who brought those flyers.

Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to visit the Castle, since I live all the way on the other side of the country.
So am I the only one who noticed he was singing in front of a laundromat during part of the Shoe Fairy song? Cuz I thought that was seriously funny.
Neil was really ROCKIN' that Shoe Song, wasn't he?!!
That's something that has really impressed me about NPH, he puts his whole heart and soul into WHATEVER impossible part he's given, you know? "Hey, Neil? I need you to be an Evil Genius... but, you know, lovable..." "Ok, now give us a twisted 'shroom munching version of yourself, with a huge breast fetish, of course..." "And we're gonna need you to riff with Elmo and sing a song about shoes at a Broadway level, is that gonna be a problem at all? No, I didn't think so..."
Seriously, who knew?! Until Dr.Horrible, I had no idea Neil Patrick Harris was freaking amazing!
I've got to go check out "How I met your mother" it must be good.
