James Marsters wins "Best Guest Star" award at Kryptonsite. James' portrayal of Brainiac in Smallville Season Seven won him the lion's share of the votes in his catagory.

James Marsters swept the Best Guest Star With 3 Episodes Or More category with 69% of the 5,279 votes cast. Behind him at second place was Michael Cassidy as Grant Gabriel with only 16%.

Article has nice things to say both about James and BTVS.

Wow, there's a lot of James talk recently. It's interesting, despite the fact that he allegedly has one of the worst fake accents ever, he keeps winning stuff. Funny, huh?
I think that goes to how interesting he is to watch. All the little gestures, head tilts, bits of business he does, make his characterizations stand out. I listen to the audiobooks he does...and believe me, he does just fine with different accents and voices but there is nothing quite as good as watching his face and being able to see things he is thinking...things that are not written in the script but that add another dimension to the action. It's just fascinating...and why people respond so much to his appearances.

Yeah, it's almost like an actor can be not quite perfect at absolutely everything he does but still very talented, who'd a thunk ? ;)
