Marvel Apes ape Astonishing X-Men. The cover for issue 3 of the simian mini-series pays tribute to John Cassaday's cover for Astonishing X-men #15.

There was a fanboy moment when I saw the cover in the comic book shop today. Also Marvel Apes not as bad as I thought it would be, some very nice dark touches to it.

My comic shop guy was making fun of Marvel hugely for this.

I get Marvel Zombies, but they've taken that too far too. There are three volumes of it at this point and they've invaded the regular and Ultimate Marvel universes, if I'm not mistaken.
