"Serenity: Better Days" TBP comes out on Wednesday. So for all of you who didn't get a chance to read the shiny before, now you can.

And for a paltry $9.95 too!

Yes it is quite the bargain, I'm assuming there's going to be a hardcover version down the line.
I'm surprised they didn't put the hardcover version out first, like with the previous mini-series "Those Left Behind".

I kinda wanna get rid of my issues and replace them with the trades. I dunno if I love the stories enough to spring for the hardcovers though, the softcovers are fine (I like the cover for the "Those Left Behind" softcover better anyway).
I'm going to do a big order tomorrow and get this, the second volume of After the Fall, and Everybody's Dead to go along with them.

With the previous mini-series, the softcover version actually came out first. Dunno why Dark Horse is going down that route but if it works for them it's all good. I hope we get a wrap around cover for the hardcover.
Did it ? I totally forgot. You're right. The hardcover edition, that they were sorta advertising as the "special/definitive" edition, came out later.

Dark Horse is actually kinda cool for doing that. I usually wait for the softcover because it often ends up being the same content (minus a different cover) for a lower price. But most companies put out the hardcover first (like how many novels are released) in order to try to make more off their customers.
