Tony Head visits Repo! Chatroom this Tuesday at 10:00AM PDT. The Repo Man will be visiting the Repo! chatroom to talk with fans tomorrow morning. Please register for the Repo Forums if you'd like more info.

"As we draw closer to the DAY (November 7, the premiere of Repo), expect more chats, like the one I was just given the word on for Tuesday October 21st at 10am PDT with special guest ANTHONY STEWART HEAD!!!

We ask that upon entering the chat room you switch your font size to 12 or 13 and your font color away from black or dark blue as its hard to read. You can do this simply by clicking the large A thats above your input window at the bottom of the chat page. For your own benefit you can disable the scrolling feature by clicking on the double ended arrow at the top right of the chat window.

We ask that everyone refrain from typing except our guests and mods so the chat is not cluttered and people miss information. When appropriate you will know when its ok for a mass reply from all in the room etc.

When it is time for questions, we ask that EVERYONE have something ready as the mods will be selecting people at RANDOM and you don't want to be caught unawares lol. Also, please do NOT pm the mods asking to be chosen or saying you have to go so you get your question in, thats not fair to others.

We ask that no links be posted during the chat for obvious reasons."

So...I'm confused - you don't get to "chat" with Tony until the very end?
Where is the information about this on the site?
Simon I didn't see it there, but Tony's site does say he'll be doing it, so that's legit, at least.

This is the part that confuzzles me: "We ask that everyone refrain from typing except our guests and mods so the chat is not cluttered and people miss information. When appropriate you will know when it's ok for a mass reply from all in the room etc."

It sounds like only a select few will be able to "chat" with Tony, until the end when there's a mass...whatever. So...it's just Tony, who is the guest, and the mods? And how do you do a mass reply? Not everyone types at the same speed, so it's gonna be like...umpteen gazillion "Tony rockz!" one after the other.
Unfortunately the information is on an area of the site that you need to be registered to access. That's why I cut and pasted most of the information.

The way the chats seem to have worked in the past is they start out with the guest introducing themselves and saying a few things and then the moderators select people at random to ask questions. I tend to agree with ShadowQuest though that there will probably be a mass "Tony rockz!" one after another several times.
I debated this for a while, and finally decided I didn't want to join a group that I'll never visit again just to sit there & read a chat that I probably won't get a chance to partake in.

It's cool that Tony's doing this, since he's said before he's a bit Giles when it comes to computers, but...it's not my cup of tea, if you'll pardon the expression. And I couldn't for the life of me think of anything to say or ask him that wouldn't come off as majorly lame.

But he's a busy guy - he's got another comedy series, called "Free Agents," coming out in January, and he's still doing Merlin. He was also just on GMTV this morning. Plus all the charities he & Sarah are involved in...I wonder how he manages to find time in the day for everything? (I counted six fundraisers on the news page of his site.)

It would be preferable in future if the specific link was provided and people could make up their own mind whether to register or not. Posting info that came from behind closed doors makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
That was fun. My question wasn't asked (it wasn't that great anyway) and at least with Tony participating I knew I wasn't the oldest one in the room. Alexa Vega showed up, which was a nice surprise.
