Creation's Salute to Firefly/Serenity goes Galactic with Jane Espenson. Jane will be doing a panel on Sunday afternoon, Nov 23rd, about writing for BSG. The panel is presented by QMX.

Oh.My.God. that is so exciting! But will people attending the Firefly/Serenity event be able to see it? Or will it require a separate ticket and missing out on seeing out BDHs? I hate having to make choices like that!

If you have a gold pass you have access to both cons - otherwise, yes, I believe you have to buy a day pass for the other one.

Hopefully the fact that they've posted the info on the Firefly page means that they realise that Firefly fans will want to go over to see Jane, just as they shouldn't have missed the fact that the Stargate fans will want to see Jewel.

Great news though - can't wait!

embers - Jane is attending the Firefly event but she will be discussing BSG. So yeah you will see her.

Thanks RavenU, I am feeling a little confused since they seem to be having three events (Firefly/Serenity, Stargate, and BSG) at the same place at the same time. But I am definitely looking forward to big fun, and getting to meet Gina Torres!

Only 2 events are happening Firefly/Serenity and Stargate at the Burbank convention that weekend.

I thought James 'Baltar' Callis was going to be there that same weekend, but I guess not... oh I see, they were going to do that on the same weekend, but cancelled it. I am definitely looking forward to this awesome weekend of Firefly/Serenity fun!
