This comic was drawn as part of Portland's proposal to host the traveling Browncoat Ball. The fabulous David Stroup has a comic of his own that you must check out (Yossarian), and he is a contributor to Serenity Tales.

More info will be coming as soon as possible about the 2009 Portland Browncoat Ball!

Official dates for the 2009 Portland Browncoat Ball are Oct 2-4, 2009.

Portland is definitely out for me (grumble grumble), but I hope everyone has a good time.
Slightly Off topic, but I think we should start having more events in the Midwest, like Chicago or even Minneapolis. Minneapolis had an awesome turnout for CSTS this year, (we ran it 3 mights in a row for heaven's sake). Sorry, I'm just whinging and complaining because I can't afford to head out to any of the west coast conventions or events. :(

Linnea1928, maybe you should be a part of a group to put together a Minneapolis bid for the Ball in 2010? You might need to start one, or find out if anyone else in your area is interested. The ball moves every year and I think they are taking applications.
