And I have to admit that the line up does not impress me, but I'll still hope that some new viewers will find it and realize how amazing it is!

I have it in both DVD incarnations, I have it in my iPod...I can't even think of how many times I've watched it...but I'll watch it on the TeeVee because I want my cable company to know I'm watching.
People expecting the regular Saturday Sci-Fi channel fare are going to be very pleasantly Gobsmacked!

In any event, the Sci-Fi Channel has got such a reputation for airing craptastic movies all weekend every weekend that I can't see lumping "Serenity" in amongst the drek is a good thing for us overall.
And, yes, what did take so long? Most other movies that had their theatrical release around the same time "Serenity" did made it to basic cable a long time ago.
