Dr. Horrible #3 on Amazon's sales ranks today! It has since dropped back down and is currently at #6, but wow! Right up there will Wall-E and the Dark Knight.

Yeah, I order my copy today and could not believe how high it was ranked. I thought after the holiday the sales would drop, but it appears thats not happening.

Very happy to see this, because this DVD deserves every bit of success it can get.

My only real disappointment is that Fake Thomas Jefferson didn't get his own number in the musical commentary. He remains an inspiration to me, because while we all have the [latent] power to not be Thomas Jefferson, here is a man _achieving_ something with it.

I wonder how much of a combined effort it would make for us to bump it up to #1 - if it was at #3, there can't be much difference between spots #3-#6 so maybe there isn't much between there and #1 either. So who hasn't bought a copy yet? My copies arrived today - much to my satisfaction given that even with the expedited shipping option I was told I'd be waiting till Jan 12th.

Is there any info about the actual number of dvd's that have been sold so far?

It's up to fourth, as Beth noted, but two of the three items above it are Blu-ray so it's second in normal DVD sales.

Mine was shipped yesterday and it's estimated to arrive only on february 3rd. My only comfort is knowing it's on its way. :(

It's strange, NathanG, I'm suddenly against a sequel. Perhaps it's because I wasn't so thrilled with "Commentary!" and I'm worried it might be more of that. I don't know, I just think I am afraid for it to be even touched now.

Hoping Amazon sales are counted on the numbers website and that the DVD makes the top 30. Then we will get some DVD sales numbers. Always a possiblity that Doc will tell us the numbers too.
